They call it the Civil War.  Every year it's Oregon and Oregon State battling for state bragging rights.  This time there some more bad blood as Oregon played the spoilers at Oregon State last year blowing the Beavers' chances for the Rose Bowl.  It also means a trip to the Rose Bowl as the Pac 10 Champion for the winner. 

When Oregon has the ball, look for them to be pretty balanced.  The Beavers will have an answer for the Ducks 8th ranked rushing offense with their Rushing D that is allowing only 98 ypg.  But they haven't played this mobile of a QB in a while.  If the Beavers can force the Ducks to throw the ball, they probably have a chance but they will need to get some pressure on Masoli. The Oregon O line will manhandle the weaker front four of the Beavers. 

When the fighting Beavers have the ball, they are pretty unremarkable even with the #1 passing O and pass efficiency in the Pac 10.  The Rodgers brothers are going to need a lights out night to beat the Ducks.  The Ducks D is 40th in defending the rush and 18th in pass efficiency so we are going to see a strength on strength battle on this side of the ball. 

Pick:  Oregon is favored by 10 at home.  Since I've always had a soft spot in my heart for beaver, I'm taking Oregon State and the points.
