8:00 #21 Nebraska at #24 Mizzou, ESPiN

Nothing like opening Big 12 play with a game that will help decide the Big 12 North.  The Huskers take their #1 Scoring Defense on the road to face Mizzou’s #15 scoring offense.  Mizzou has won 23 of their last 27 at home so they are taking home field advantage to a new level.  The Huskers are hot and cold but a lot more balanced.  Blaine Gabbert may be #4 in pass efficiency in the country but the front four on for Nebraska will be in his grill all night.  Nebraska is on a seven game losing streak against ranked opponents on the road. 

Pick: Mizzou is getting 3 points at home.  I think the Huskers balance and memories of the tough collapse at Blacksburg keep the Huskers going.  I’m picking the Huskers to cover.  Sorry ladies...
