221 Days until kickoff ...OH THE HORROR!!!!!
As you stare into the vast chasm of nothingness, clothed only in the despair that is the off season, I bring hope to Sooners. Spring Football is not too far away where hope springs eternal, everyone is undefeated and everyone can take home the glass football.
The Curious story of Jamarkus McFarland
I don’t go to the NY Times to often for material, but this one has it all; lap dances, bribery and Mack Brown. Definitely PG13. I was “shocked” to learn what takes place in college football recruiting. I refuse to watch any live games for at least February and March!!!

The Wolverines Make Great Strides by Hiring Greg Robinson (ROFL)
The Michigan Wolverines keep falling down the up escalator and there is no end in sight. This week they hired Greg Robinson to be their Defensive Coordinator. Robinson is the deposed coach of Syracuse who took them to a 10-37 record including a win over Notre Dame. Rich Rodriguez was quoted as saying “well, at least we might be Notre Dame.”

Crazy Pete Carroll Shows some Class
After a sound whipping of the Big 10 in that powder puff mismatch and joke of a bowl game called the Rose Bowl (soon to be named the No Doz Bowl), Pete Carroll shows the class we’ve all been waiting to see from “Can’t get to the big game” Pete.

America's Loss Of Small Family Farms Is Killing Midwest Football
Good article from a blog rookie from smalltown Oklahoma like yours truly. Sounds like a Big 10 apology but worth the read. Some of Stoops Top 5 Let Downs: Reasons I Can Not Be More Confident About Tonight (oops)

A Letter From Texas Longhorns Fans to Tim Tebow
Apparently it didn’t take the 3rd best team in the Big 12 long to break open the bong and start beating their chest about their victory over the team that lost to the team that lost to USC. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/109530-a-letter-from-texas-longhorns-fans-to-tim-tebow#comments But then again isn't Texas the team that lost to the team that lost to OU?
And I thought I was a die hard fan…
I drove 3014 miles with 3 kids and a wife to watch the BCS championship game in the parking lot. At least I didn’t do this. Sen. Tom Coburn from Oklahoma serenades Sen. Bill Nelson from Florida after Oklahoma’s loss in the BCS Championship game. Can you really call this singing? You don’t want to get caught in that filibuster.
