More on the best DB coach in football

Earlier this week I posted about some misguided souls who were voting for Bobby Jack as the best secondary coach in D1.  http://firebobbyjack.com/2008/06/16/best-secondary-coach-in-footballbobby-jack-wright.aspx

Let's talk about Bobby Jack's secondary from last year.

59th in Pass Defense behind Texas Tech, Kansas and directional schools too numerous to list.

43rd in Pass Efficiency Defense behind Kansas and Texas Tech from the Big 12

14th (Tied) in Interceptions behind Kansas

So I had to call Dennis Dodd out, the author of the originating article.  In his article he said "Bobby Jack Wright, Oklahoma: Since Wright became secondary coach in 2005, OU has finished second, first and first in Big 12 pass efficiency defense. Reggie Smith, a two-time All-Big 12 defensive back, was a third-round choice of the 49ers."  http://cbs.sportsline.com/collegefootball/story/10867680/rss

I'll keep you posted on the response.
