Counting them down (or up) ...CHAMPS SPORTS BOWL (9), TEXAS BOWL (10), EMERALD BOWL (11)

For those of us not doing a damn thing on Friday, here you go.  For those of you keeping track, my heads up record should be 8-1 right now.  Good thing I'm not picking against the spread though.

#9 No. 14 Boston College (10-3) at Michigan State (7-5)

Why do you care?  The BC eagles were over hyped all season and I love to see a team that was over rated get beat about the head and shoulders by a team that wasn't even in the top 3 of their conference.

What to watch for:  Look for Michigan State to rely on their strength and run the ball.  Without much of a running game, the Spartans should spend most of the day in nickel or dime defenses.  Matt Ryan won't be effective passing the ball and the Big East is a Big Joke again.  Spartans by a dozen

#10 Houston (8-4) vs TCU (7-5)

Why do you care?  To see what former OU Co-offensive coordinator Kevin Sumlin is inheriting down in Houston.  Also to watch that stupid thing that they horned frogs do with their hand that is supposed to look like a horned frog.  Gig 'em Houston.

What to watch for:  This won't be a good going away party for Houston coach Art Briles.  His team will be flat.  Houston is statistically better but they played SW Georgia college of stenography.  Expect the frogs to roll the cougars.

#11 Oregon State (8-4) vs Maryland (6-6)

Why do you care? Any chance to cheer for the fighting beavers is a reason to watch a football game.  Also I have never seen a team that their coach personifies their mascot as much as Maryland and the Friedg.  If he's not a big turtle, I don't know who is.

What to watch for:  The terps have been unsteady all season and the Beavers are hitting on all cylinders late in the season.  The Beavers will put a lot of points on the board and I don't expect Maryland to be able to stop them.  Fighting Beaver by 15
